A companhia surge da pesquisa “Gênero e dispositivos de performatividade”, realizada na Universidade UNIRIO,
por alunos-artistas-pesquisadores
que sentem a necessidade de reafirmar
o teatro como arte coletiva.
“O Que Surge de uma Baba Grossa”
é um espetáculo teatral encenado
pela Companhia Teatral Teatro dy Afronte em 2019 nas instalações da Companhia Teatral Teatro do Oprimido.
O conceito da Direção de Arte, assim como a cenografia, baseia-se nos corpos dos atores ocupando o espaço
e construindo camadas de sensações que emergiam nas áreas das cenas
e nos espectadores.
Devido à falta de orçamento
e de suas pesquisas físicas, corporais
e experimentais, seus corpos
tornaram-se o espaço e também os dispositivos que utilizavam. Ferramentas que pudessem materializar ambientes.
O espaço foi construído através
dos movimentos, emoções e intenções dos atores em relação aos sentidos táticos e emocionais dos espectadores que contribuiriam ativamente para
a performance e também para
a materialização do espaço.
Cenas da peça retratando sua performatividade construindo o espaço na experiência sensorial do público com seus corpos junto com suas ferramentas, vestimentas e elementos do cenário como iluminação.
